Online Self-Study training module.
The online digital training is accessible anytime using a computer, cellular device or tablet. This course can be completed at any place and time; and at your own pace. Complete your 30 hours online training during COVID-19 safely at home. Once you have successfully completed the online training, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation will allow you to schedule the 10 hours of in-car training with your driving instructor.

10 HOURS OF PRIVATE IN-VEHICLE TRAINING
Once the online portion of the course has been completed, the in-vehicle training will begin.
All private in-vehicle lessons are one-on-one with no other students inside the car and all pick-up / drop-off will be at High Park subway station at Quebec Ave. student pickup and drop-off area.

Saturday/Sunday/Holidays we are closed for in car sessions. no classes.

A BDE program graduate will be eligible upon successful completion of the BDE program with shorter wait time to their road test appointment by 4 months and insurance discounts.
The complete driver training program at Learner’s Academy Driving School Ltd.™ consists of (40 hours breakdown):
- 20 hours online BDE course
- 10 hours online training: Homelink
- 10 hours in-car training
Fee: CAD $849.00 (total final price).
Total hours: 40 hours.
Term: 1 year
NOTE: 1-year contract Policy:
The course must be completed within 365 days, 1 year from the date you registered and date you have made your full payment. This is an Ontario Government regulation 473/07. No refunds, no exchanges after the 1-year expiration date, and the student must make a full payment to restart a new online BDE course. No exceptions.
Cancellation Policy: We operate a 48 hours cancellation policy for in-car training.
If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the day of your lesson, you will not be charged, or else the school policy is to charge a fee of CAD $65 to rebook a makeup lesson.
How to graduate and attain the BDE certification: Student must follow the below steps in order to successfully complete BDE course:
STEP1: complete 30 hours of self-study online course and pass final test.
The online training is accessible anytime using a computer, mobile or tablet. The course is administered by TRUBICARS who is a 3rd party vendor that the MTO government has selected to teach BDE online curriculum. TRUBICARS telephone: 647.760.5505
Once you have successfully completed step 1 the online training, go to step 2.
STEP 2: Complete 10 hours Home links online course (Homework) and final test.
Once you have completed step 1 and 2 then you will receive an email confirmation to contact the school to begin scheduling 10 hours in car sessions, step 3.
STEP 3: Book your 10 hours in car sessions (defensive driving) after completing step 1 and step 2, complete the 10 hours and pass your final test – in car.

STEP 4: Forward payment to government for the BDE registration $45, and fill in and sign the sign out sheet requesting BDE to be processed and registered.
Step 5: After completing all the 4 steps above, you can visit any Service Ontario to request a DHL form: Proof of Beginner’s Driver Education course (BDE).The DHL provides proof of successful completion of the BDE course and BDE graduates with a DLH are eligible for an insurance discount.
